Two Green Cactus Plants at Daytime

It’s almost summertime and nothing is more frustrating than wanting to spend time with your dog but you can’t bring them anywhere. We are lucky to be living in Phoenix, Arizona where there are so many opportunities to spend time with your pets at local restaurants, malls, and even ballparks. Here are ten places you must visit with your dog this summer:

Restaurants

Are you hungry and in need of a place to sit back and relax? Check out these dog-friendly restaurants and markets!

The Open Air Market is located on Central Avenue in Phoenix. It sells food and small goods brought in by local farmers.It is outside on Wednesdays and seasonally on the weekend.

The Farm at South Mountain is a beautiful place to relax with family and enjoy a nice picnic style meal. It is located on 32nd street in Phoenix and offers everything from sandwiches to soup and salads for you and your dogs. 

Have you heard of La Piñata Mexican Restaurant? Located on 7th Avenue, with authentic Mexican cuisine! You can also order a side dish of fresh chicken for your dog! The owner loves his puppies. 

Another great farmers market is the RoadRunner Park Farmers Market on Cactus Road in Phoenix. It is open at 8am on Saturday mornings and is a great way to start your weekend with your pet.

Parks & Malls

Take your pet out to the ball game at the Petsmart Patio. This place is made for a sunny afternoon for you and your dog to enjoy a baseball game! Who doesn’t love sports and dogs?

Who doesn’t love shopping? Paradise Valley Mall knows that DOGS are a woman's best friend so they allow you to shop with them!

The Arizona Center is a beautiful shopping complex located on 3rd street in Phoenix and is a great place to hangout with your dog! 

The Pioneer Living History Museum does not only just educate you, but it allows you to bring your pet as well. It is located at 3901 West Pioneer Road in Phoenix. 

Need a quiet place to read and give your dog a tummy rub? Bookman’s Entertainment Exchange is pet friendly! Give them a visit at any of their six locations around Arizona. 

Last but not least is Papago Park! A classic park to play fetch with your puppy on a Sunday Afternoon. Go spend some quality time with your dog this weekend!
