Fall is not only a favorite season among the two-legged, it is also for the four-legged as well! Who doesn’t love a cooler breeze that allows us to actually enjoy being outside in Arizona?!? Are you struggling to find fall activities for your pets? Here are some tips!

Playing Football

It’s football season, so why not make this an activity that your pet can also participate in. This gets them outside and active, while also being a perfect bonding opportunity. Consider buying a football made for dogs, so it does not ruin their teeth. Buy KONG’S version if you are interested.

Please be advised that it’s still hot outside, so pick times of day with your dog’s paws in mind!

Pumpkin Patches

Pull out your cameras because this will be the cutest thing you will see all week! Who doesn’t love a pet photoshoot next to a scarecrow? Pick a pumpkin for your dog and try carving their picture in it. Dog-o-lanterns are trending this year!

Camping

Looking for a pet friendly campground in Arizona? No problem. You'll find information on all of the dog friendly campgrounds and RV resorts that allow pets here. You can get the scoop on their pet policies, read reviews of other campers with pets, and even speak with the campground hosts directly. Or, call 877-411-FIDO, and one of their pet travel experts will help you select the perfect pet friendly campground in Arizona.

Halloween

You and your dog do everything together. So naturally it makes sense that you dress up in human and dog Halloween costumes. With Halloween right around the corner, is your costume ready? No? Then don’t worry – we have some inspiration for you and your best friend.

Remember to think of safety when choosing a Halloween costume for your pup. Don’t choose something that has choking hazards and make sure they are supervised at all times.
